Welcome to Bilgola Surf Life Saving Club

Bilgola Beach is a beautiful spot and is nestled in between Avalon and Newport Beach in the picturesque region of Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The Bilgola Surf Life Saving Club was formed in the summer of 1949 when a small band of locals commenced patrols on Bilgola Beach. At the end of the 2008/2009 season the Bilgola Club celebrated 60 years of service to the local community. Bilgola Surf Life Saving Club, which is located at the south end of Bilgola Beach, offers a real sense of community spirit. It is a great way to meet new people, support the community, keep fit or just have fun.

Australian Surf Rowers League Open Congratulations Bilgola

5 surf boat crews from Bilgola SLSC represented the club at the recent ASRL Open at Shellharbour. This is a major event on the competition calendar with over 300 crews entered from every state and territory in Australia (yes, even the ACT). Our 3 open age crews (open men, open women and reserve grade) all produced some outstanding racing over the weekend and showed…
