ASRL Hall of Fame Inductees 2016

Natalie Gartner and Norm Pounder have joined the esteemed ranks of the ASRL Hall of Fame, alongside Don McManus and Mel MacPherson.

Natalie is regarded as a life-long ‘boatie’ having rowed for the past 21 consecutive years. Her list of achievements reflects the hard work and dedication she continues to apply. Not only is she regarded as a phenomenal sportsperson, both tough and fierce, but she is also respected for her fairness.

Norm Pounder has achieved an enviable record during his 29 years of competitive rowing. Highly respected for his life of dedication and commitment to the sport and to the Bilgola Surf Club. At a young age, Norm achieved the status of a boat official and his work continues to be respected and admired.

This is an extraordinary achievement for a surf club like Bilgola and it reflects the many years of hard work, commitment and outstanding results in the sport of surf boat rowing and Surf Lifesaving.

Congratulations to you both and thank you for your service to Bilgola SLSC.
