Welcome to Bilgola Surf Life Saving Club

Bilgola Beach is a beautiful spot and is nestled in between Avalon and Newport Beach in the picturesque region of Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The Bilgola Surf Life Saving Club was formed in the summer of 1949 when a small band of locals commenced patrols on Bilgola Beach. At the end of the 2008/2009 season the Bilgola Club celebrated 60 years of service to the local community. Bilgola Surf Life Saving Club, which is located at the south end of Bilgola Beach, offers a real sense of community spirit. It is a great way to meet new people, support the community, keep fit or just have fun.

Battle of the Boats 2016

Battle of the Boats at Pacific Palms was moved to the Lake Course due to dangerous surf conditions. There were 8 Bilgola crews who competed and 4 made the finals with the Women’s Gold crew rowing well for the silver medal.  The Benny’s, are also rowing well, sadly they didn’t get the right alley but were just behind the winners. The Masters Men took out a bronze medal against younger crews which augers well for them in their correct weight for age division at Aussies.  The Masters Women secured a finals berth and rowed well all weekend.
