Yes, it's Telstra Beach to Bush time again, and we are inviting applications from interested members to present the program to our rural Australians. The tour for 2010 runs from Monday 1 November to Friday 5 November and you will need to allow additional travel time to reach your destination. The only problem will be deciding which outback town to visit: the Silver City of Broken Hill or the Big Dish at Parkes? What about going to Lightning Ridge to look for the infamous Black Opal or perhaps wine tasting at Yass is more your style? There is always the Australian Telescope at Narrabri or the Berrigan Gold Cup.
If you like the sound of these places, and have a flair communicating with primary aged children, then complete the application form and return it to SLSNSW by 13 August. All expenses will be paid, including a vehicle allowance. Click here for the Application Form in Word or the Application Form PDF.
